Baptist Church of Farnsworth, Iowa, recently put
their first four rows of pews up for sale. “We're asking top dollar for them,”
said Pastor Vic Merton. “They've never been used.”
Realizing that they would be closer to the front after
the sale,
the frantic congregation has begun assembling
folding chairs in the church foyer.
